Verve V80 greens powder is a daily greens drink mix that comes in powder form. It’s designed to be a super easy way to ensure you’re getting all your body’s essential vitamins and minerals in one hit.

For me, this means that it’s not a replacement for eating healthily, nor is it a meal replacement… it’s more of a backup catch-all way of ensuring you stay topped up on nutrients that are vital for processes such as energy production and digestive health, as well as your overall well-being. This can be particularly helpful if I’ve been traveling, exceptionally busy, or feeling under the weather and need a reliable way to get healthy nutrients onboard quickly and easily.

To drink it is simple, you take one scoop, mix it with water (or milk, or another liquid of your choice), shake it and drink up.

What are the key benefits of drinking Verve V80

Like other greens powders, Verve contains ingredients which can be expected to offer certain benefits, that you may start to feel in a matter of days or weeks of consistent use.

According to Verve’s website, as your body begins to absorb the rich array of vitamins, minerals, and probiotics, you could see improvements in your energy levels, digestion, and overall well-being, and 81% of Verve V80 customers report feeling the difference in weeks.

Because Verve V80 includes 100% of the recommended daily vitamin and mineral intake (plus more ‘good-for-you’ ingredients, it can replace several products in your nutritional regimen, including your daily multivitamin, mineral supplement and probiotic supplements. This is great if you’re sick of taking vitamin pills and want a simpler, possibly more enjoyable way to assure yourself of getting a daily fix of essential nutrients and probiotics.

Verve V80 Transparent Greens Powder Ingredients

The 80 in V80 relates to the number of ingredients used to create this greens powder.

The ingredients in greens powder is extracted from real fruits, vegetables, and natural plant foods – so it’s 100 per cent natural and there are no additives, preservatives or proprietary blends in the mix. In case you were wondering what ‘proprietary blends’ are, that’s the point! Some other greens powders out there (not all) will have that in the list of ingredients, and are opaque in terms of the nature and source of those ingredients.

Plus, you can see the ingredients all listed clearly on the packaging, hence the ‘transparent’ in the product’s name.

How and when is the best time of day to drink V80?

I always prefer to enjoy a greens powder blend mixed with water to start off my day, usually after my morning coffee and breakfast. Rather than taking water from the tap, I always use water that’s been filtered and purified using my LARQ pitcher, which you can learn more about in my LARQ pitcher review.

You can also mix it with milk or within a smoothie if that’s your preferred way of consuming it. If you have a morning smoothie for breakfast this will be an effortless addition to that drink.

How long does a packet last?

Each pouch contains 30 servings, or scoops, so it should last you a month if you have a greens powder drink every day.

If you choose to have a smaller portion each day, or not to drink it daily, then it will last more than a month.

What Verve V80 tastes like and my experience drinking it

Verve V80 surprised me with its naturally sweet flavor, which comes straight from real fruit. I love that there’s no artificial sweeteners or added sugars—just the natural goodness of fruits and a touch of stevia. It tastes genuinely pleasant and sweet without any of the usual suspects you’d find in other products.

I do recommend making the mix stronger than the recommended 300ml of water however, which means still using 1 scoop of powder but adding water to the 250ml line instead of 300ml. It just tastes a little watered down otherwise.

How does it compare to other super green drink products?

What stands out for me with the Verve V80 is the transparency of the ingredients, and its simplicity. There is nothing fancy, unusual or stand-out about it, for example, it doesn’t have a very strong taste, so it’s easy to consume and the ingredients are clear and from sources I understand, which makes me feel good about what I’m putting into my body.

It’s closest competitor right now is probably AG1 or Organifi – I’ve reviewed a lot of greens powders in the past, and here are the ones that I rate the highest.

Like me, Verve is originally from the UK (and ships to the US and these countries). It’s actually made in the UK, which gives me a good deal of confidence about its quality, given the high manufacturing standards and regulations there. I now live in California in case you’re wondering!

You can learn more about Verve’s manufacturing and supply chain, as well as their recyclable packaging, on this page of their website. Yes, all their pouches, transit packaging, bottles and tins are 100% recyclable and the Verve scoop is even compostable!

Cost and where to buy

A one-off purchase of a pouch of Verve V80 (as pictured in this review) costs $99.

If you choose the subscribe and save option (which can be skipped, paused or canceled at any time) then the price per pouch gets a lot lower – at $60 per month for a 30 serving pouch, and you get a welcome kit that includes a glass bottle and storage tin for your greens powder.

It’s also worth checking Verve’s website for any additional offers or discounts they may have on right now:
