Why I wanted to try IM8

Over the last month, I’ve been using IM8 Daily Ultimate Essentials, a supplement designed to simplify your wellness routine by combining 92 high-quality ingredients into a single daily drink.

Endorsed and co-created by David Beckham, it’s meant to replace the need for a handful of separate pills and powders, in much the same way as Greens Powders do.

As someone who’s active and always health-conscious (my body is a temple and all that), I was curious to see if this would make a meaningful difference to how I feel in my day to day, and also how it compares to a similar product that I use, AG1.

Spoiler: it did.

I noticed a consistent lift in energy and mental focus, and I appreciated the convenience. It’s clean (vegan, gluten-free, no added sugar or artificial sweeteners) and doesn’t taste like swamp water, lol. Here’s everything you should know before trying it for yourself.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • Combines 92 ingredients into one simple scoop
  • Actually tastes good (berry flavor with a hint of cocoa)
  • Noticeably improves daily energy and focus
  • Supports digestion, recovery, and overall wellness
  • Vegan, gluten-free, no artificial sweeteners
  • Clinically tested with third-party verification

Cons:

  • Premium price ($79/month with subscription)
  • One flavor only (acai + berries)
  • You need to be consistent to see results

Taste and mixability

I’ve tried a lot of greens powders in the past, and although a select few taste great, the majority are either overly sweetened, or taste a bit too grassy. IM8 is a completely different with more of a berry taste, and yes, it has a reddish color not green.

The acai and mixed berry flavor is actually pleasant with a light sweetness and subtle chocolatey finish. It’s smooth, not gritty, and mixes easily in cold water (with the included shaker), which means you don’t need a blender to get a smooth taste.

I mix one scoop with 12oz of cold water first thing in the morning. It takes less than a minute to prep, and it’s something I actually enjoy drinking. It’s refreshing and doesn’t although there is an aftertaste, it’s at least a nice one.

Performance and benefits

Here’s what I experienced after one month of consistent use:

1. Steady, sustained energy

Within about two weeks, I noticed I no longer needed my usual second coffee – even though I love my coffee, the taste, the experience – I didn’t feel I needed it for the additional energy.

Energy levels were stable all day without spikes or crashes, and with that said, it’s important to know, this isn’t a stimulant-based energy boost, instead it’s more a sense of natural vitality – and that’s my prefered route when it comes to supplements.

2. Sharper focus and productivity

I felt more locked-in during content creation / writing sessions and less mentally foggy. It helped me stay on task longer and made me feel more alert without feeling wired.

3. Recovery and reduced soreness

As a regular runner and fitness guy, I found recovery was faster. Less post-workout soreness, and I bounced back quicker for my next run.

If you’re into running too, you need to visit my other website Alastair Running and YouTube Channel – you’re missing out on all the best running gear reviews and run tips otherwise! 😀

The ingredients like MSM, turmeric, and adaptogens likely helped there.

4. Improved digestion

I felt lighter and less bloated after meals. Digestion was smoother overall and regular, without any discomfort. IM8 includes prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes, so this makes sense to me – it’s the same experience I had with AG1.

5. General wellness and immunity

I didn’t get sick during the month and felt more resilient overall – this is always going to be a little bit of a subjective observation as there are so many factors at play but I do have a 2 year old who is naturally susceptible to picking up colds at his school, so I guess that’s adding to my statement.

IM8 includes immune-supporting nutrients like vitamins A, C, D3, zinc, and antioxidants, and while this effect is harder to measure, I definitely felt “well” throughout.

These benefits really came through after about 2-3 weeks of consistent use. If you’re only taking it occasionally, you probably won’t notice much.

How and when to take it

One scoop a day, ideally in the morning. I take it 15–30 minutes before breakfast, mixed in cold water. It’s quick, mess-free, and easy to stick to.

I do wish the included shaker was more like the ones that Verve V80, AG1 and DryWater provide. The insulated tumbler supplied is nice and all but does feel too big and clunky for its intended purpose.

See the image below which shows the included AG1, DryWater, and IM8 mixer bottles:

You can also take it in the afternoon if you prefer, or blend it into a smoothie. IM8 also offer travel sachets, which are great for staying consistent when on the move.

They’re easy to tear open and are a convenient size (I was sent a few of those packs to try too).

Consistency is key, this isn’t something you take once and feel different overnight. But if you make it part of your daily routine, the benefits do build up. With that said, everyone is different and will have different experiences, so I just urge you to try it for a month, to see if it works for you.

Price and where to buy

IM8 is available on their official website and Amazon. Pricing:

  • $79/month with subscription (30 servings)
  • $99 for one-time purchase
  • Free shipping on orders over $50

Yes, it’s an investment for sure – it’s one of the more expensive powder supplement drinks. But if you’re already spending money on a multivitamin, probiotic, greens powder, and other extras, this can actually consolidate and simplify your stack.

And if you value how you feel day to day, it may be worth every cent.

Final verdict

I came into this curious and slightly skeptical, but I’m finishing the month genuinely impressed.

IM8 Daily Ultimate Essentials delivered steady energy, improved focus, better digestion, and faster recovery—all without the hassle of multiple supplements.

The price might give some pause, but the convenience, clean formula, and actual performance benefits will make it worth it for me.

It’s a simple, effective way to stay on top of your wellness game. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say give it a solid few weeks and see how your body responds, you might be surprised at how much this daily habit can do for you and your body.
