If you haven’t heard about High Camp Flasks yet, you’re in for a treat; they’re a brand with a more sophisticated approach to portable outdoor drinking gear. I had the chance to test two of their flagship products: the Parkside Flask (750) and the Torch Flask (6oz) which has been custom laser engraved.
While each flask is tailored to different types of outdoor experiences, both showcase why High Camp Flasks stands out in a crowded insulated bottle market.

About High Camp Flasks
High Camp Flasks is all about transforming outdoor drinking experiences with premium, thoughtful design. Instead of the often disposable feel of typical flasks or plastic cups, they’ve chosen to focus on quality materials, ease of use, and maintaining the pure flavor of your beverage.
From magnetic attachments to electropolished interiors, every feature feels well-considered, making these products feel every bit as premium as their price point.
How the Parkside Flask & Torch Flask differ
The Parkside Flask is made for wine lovers who crave an elevated drinking experience outdoors. With two integrated tumblers, a wine bottle-sized mouth opening, and 24-hour insulation, it’s a picnic or beach essential that you probably never knew you needed until now.
On the other hand, the Torch Flask caters to spirit enthusiasts who want to savor their whiskey, cocktails, or even espresso on-the-go. With its removable bottom for easy filling, double-wall insulation, and a 3oz magnetic shot glass, it redefines what a portable flask can be.
The good
Parkside Flask
- Full bottle portability: There’s no need to juggle glasses and bottles – it carries a full bottle of wine and comes with integrated tumblers.
- 24hr Insulation: Keeps your drink cold (or warm) for hours. During my test, white wine stayed chilled for an entire afternoon in the sun.
- Classy look and feel: The sleek stainless steel design draws compliments and adds an elegant touch to outdoor gatherings.
Torch Flask
- Easy fill and cleaning: The screw-off bottom cap is a nice touch, making it simple to fill without a funnel and easy to clean thoroughly after use.
- Integrated shot/sip tumbler: The magnetically attached shot tumbler is convenient for measured sipping. Whether it’s whiskey or a “pocktail” (pocket cocktail), it keeps things classy.
- Flavor reservation: Like the Parkside, it’s made from high-grade stainless steel, preserving the flavor of your spirits without a metallic aftertaste.
The not so good
Weighing approximately 25 ounces when empty, the Parkside Flask is relatively heavy. This weight might be a consideration for those planning hikes or activities where minimizing load is more important than a cold drink of wine at the end of it.
Additionally, its premium quality comes with a high price point, which may feel like a splurge for occasional outings but to be honest, if you spend a lot of time in the outdoors, it’s worth the investment.
The Torch Flask is available in 6oz and 9oz sizes, catering to those who prefer measured sips, and while this is ideal for a few pours, it won’t suffice for longer adventures where a larger capacity is desired but to it’s credit, it’s pocket size is exactly what makes the Torch Flask so damn cool.
My verdict on both flasks
If you’re a wine enthusiast who wants to enjoy your favorite vintage outdoors without compromising on taste or desired temperature, the Parkside Flask is worth the investment. It’s sophisticated, practical, and perfect for group gatherings.
On the other hand, if you prefer spirits or small-batch cocktails and value a premium sipping experience, the Torch Flask delivers on this. It’s thoughtfully designed for whiskey lovers and excels in portability and flavor preservation.
Both flasks make fantastic gifts for outdoorsy types who appreciate a touch of luxury with their adventure; whether it’s a thoughtful gesture for a friend or a treat for yourself, High Camp Flasks bring refinement to outdoor sipping.
