Timeline launches Mitopure Gummies, and it says something about where longevity supplements are heading
The same clinically studied Urolithin A, now in a sugar-free strawberry gummy that makes daily supplementation feel a lot less clinical.
Timeline has launched Mitopure Gummies, a sugar-free strawberry gummy that delivers 500mg of their proprietary Urolithin A (Mitopure) in two gummies per day.
It's the same active ingredient that has powered Timeline's softgels and powder since 2020, backed by the same clinical research. The difference is format, and that shift matters more than it might seem.
The most research-backed longevity brands are starting to move toward more approachable supplement formats. Not because the science changed, but because the understanding of what makes people actually stick with a supplement long enough to benefit from it has matured.
When clinical benefits build over weeks and months, making the daily habit effortless stops being a gimmick and starts being the most important product decision a brand can make.

Why this caught my attention
I've been using Timeline's Mitopure softgels for a while now, and I wrote about my experience after 60 days of consistent use.

During that stretch, which overlapped with a demanding block of 50K ultramarathon training, I noticed my energy levels staying more consistent through the day, and recovery between hard sessions felt smoother than I expected.
That was enough to keep Mitopure in my routine.
But softgels aren't my favourite part of the morning, especially as you have to take two, and they're not the smallest of softgels.
They're easy to skip when you're rushing out the door, easy to leave in a drawer when you're travelling. That's the gap gummies fill. Not a science gap, a friction gap, and I've noticed the same shift across more than one brand recently.

The science behind Mitopure
Mitopure is Timeline's patented form of Urolithin A, a postbiotic that activates mitophagy: the recycling and renewal of damaged mitochondria within your cells.
As we age, that renewal slows, damaged mitochondria accumulate, and cellular energy production declines, which is linked to reduced muscle function, lower energy, and slower recovery.
What sets Timeline apart is the research depth. The company was founded at EPFL (the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and has invested over $50 million across 18 years, producing 25+ human clinical trials and 80+ global patents.
Two findings are particularly worth knowing. A placebo-controlled trial found that 500mg of Urolithin A daily led to roughly 12% improvement in muscle strength after 16 weeks, with meaningful gains in aerobic endurance.
A separate study published in Nature Aging showed that 1,000mg daily improved immune cell function and reduced inflammatory markers in adults aged 45–70 over just 28 days.
Mitopure is FDA GRAS, NSF Certified, and Clean Label Project verified. It remains the only clinically tested Urolithin A on the market, which matters given that third-party testing of competing supplements has found significant deviations from labelled amounts.

None of that changes with the gummy format. Timeline states the gummies deliver comparable bioavailability and absorption to their other formats.
What's in the gummies
- Active ingredient: 500mg Mitopure (Urolithin A) per two-gummy serving
- Flavour: Strawberry (sugar-free, naturally sweetened with stevia-derived Reb M)
- Format: Vegan, gluten-free, free of the big 8 food allergens
- Serving size: 60 gummies per pack (30-day supply)
- Certifications: NSF Contents Certified, Clean Label Project verified
- Calories: 10 per serving
- Made in: USA (formulated in Switzerland)

Two gummies daily is the standard dose. Four per day provides 1,000mg, the dose used in Timeline's immune health study. You can also combine gummies with other Mitopure formats as long as you don't exceed 1,000mg per day.
Who the gummies make most sense for
If you're already happy with Mitopure softgels or powder, there's no reason to switch unless you prefer this format. The ingredient and dose are the same.

But the gummies open up a few useful doors: they're easier if you're already swallowing multiple capsules each morning, simpler for travel (no water needed, less clinical feel), and a lower-friction entry point if you've been curious about Urolithin A but haven't tried it yet.
Timeline also offers a sample pack with three servings if you want to test before committing.
The honest caveats
Mitopure is expensive. A one-month supply is $125 one-time, and while subscriptions bring the cost down, this remains a premium supplement.
The price reflects the research investment, but it's worth being realistic about whether it fits your budget given the benefits build over months of consistent use.
The clinical data is strong and growing, but as with any supplement, individual results will vary, and the space as a whole benefits from more independent long-term research.
If you have underlying health conditions or are on medication, check with a healthcare professional first.
My take
The science hasn't changed. The ingredient hasn't changed. What has changed is that it's now easier for more people to actually take Mitopure consistently, and in the longevity space, that matters more than most product launches.
For me, as someone who already uses Mitopure and has felt the difference during hard training blocks, the gummies make an already useful supplement a little easier to live with.
If you've been using Mitopure in any format, or if you're considering trying it, I'd love to hear how it's working for you. Drop a comment below!
