kida launches Odyssey Collection for SS26

Skida has just launched its new Odyssey Collection, a warm-weather SS26 capsule that brings six fresh prints to the brand’s summer lineup of headwear and accessories.

Skida describes Odyssey as a celebration of adventure, transformation, and “the beauty of the unknown”, with the release built around the idea of setting out with curiosity and finding something unexpected along the way.

The new capsule includes six prints: Persephone, Odyssey, Calypso, Gather, Linnea, and Elysian Fields.

Skida says each one reflects a different moment in the journey, moving from sun-drenched meadows and open water to harvest tables and more mystical, transportive landscapes.

It is a familiar kind of storytelling from Skida, but one that still feels distinct in a category where performance accessories often lean practical first and forgettable second.

What makes this launch feel more substantial than a simple print refresh is how broadly Skida has rolled it out.

Odyssey appears across many of the brand’s core warm-weather formats, including brim hats, running caps, nylon caps, sun tours, scrunchies, throwback headbands, dog bandanas, and bike fenders.

That gives the collection more of a seasonal-world feel than a one-product drop, and it keeps the focus on pieces people will actually use through spring and summer, whether that means running, hiking, riding, or just being outside more often.

The launch also fits neatly within Skida’s broader brand identity. The company, based in Burlington, Vermont and established in 2008, describes itself as women-founded and women-led, with a reputation built on colorful accessories that bring a bit more personality to outdoor gear.

Odyssey continues that thread, pairing Skida’s playful visual language with the lightweight, sun-ready products that have become a key part of its warm-weather offering.

In a market full of neutral caps and barely-there design, that may be the key point of this release. Odyssey does not try to reinvent headwear. It just gives the category a little more color, more narrative, and a stronger sense that functional outdoor accessories can still feel expressive.
