Two pioneers in outdoor innovation, Houdini and Osprey, have joined forces to create something truly rare: a backpack that’s both technically elite and built for the planet’s future.

It’s called Allt (Swedish for everything), and the name says it all.

Born from the idea that we can do more with less, the Allt backpack is built to handle every season and every pursuit from ski touring, and climbing to hiking, and travel, without compromise.

But what makes it remarkable isn’t just its versatility; it’s the fact that it was designed from the start to be fully circular.

Everything considered

Every decision behind the Allt was made with circularity in mind.

All key components, from the fabrics and webbing to the foam and cords, is made from 100% polyester, allowing for simplified repair and straightforward recycling at the end of its life.

Over 70% of its materials are recycled, and when your adventures finally wear it down, you can send it back to Osprey or Houdini for responsible disassembly and reuse.

It’s a system that keeps valuable materials out of landfills and builds a blueprint for what outdoor gear can, and should, become.

As Houdini’s chief product officer, Jesper Danielsson, puts it:

Allt is born from the belief that we can do more with less. We wanted to create one backpack that could truly do it all — and build it to last.

Four-season function

The Allt 20L and 30L are designed for life in motion, from alpine skin tracks to city travel.

Both sizes use Osprey’s AirScape™ backpanel, reengineered to shed snow while maintaining close-to-body stability.

A modular external strap system lets you attach ice tools, skis, crampons, or rope, adapting seamlessly between seasons and disciplines.

Inside, there’s a multi-use compartment that can house avalanche tools or a hydration reservoir, while roll-top access, rope compression straps, and removable front accessory straps keep the pack streamlined yet endlessly adaptable.

It’s the kind of design that eliminates the need for multiple specialized packs, and one that genuinely earns its name.

Futuristic fabric and carry comfort

High-wear zones are reinforced with X-Pac RX36 fabric from Dimension-Polyant, the sailcloth specialists behind some of the world’s toughest laminates.

This advanced mono-material bonds post-consumer recycled polyester to a polyester film, creating a waterproof, abrasion-resistant shell that’s impressively light for its strength.

The harness and hipbelt feature CCubed™ foam, made from 100% recycled polyester and engineered to wick moisture away for all-day comfort.

Add in an adjustable sliding yoke system for a custom torso fit, and you get balanced, confident movement whether you’re carrying five or twenty pounds.

Hardware with a conscience

Even the Allt’s smallest components were rethought; buckles are made from bio-based POM plastic derived from captured agricultural methane.

The webbing is recyclable polyester, and every piece of hardware can be removed for repair or replacement, extending the pack’s life and keeping its materials in circulation.

Both models meet bluesign® PRODUCT standards, ensuring every step of their creation follows strict environmental and social criteria.

The Allt backpack is available now in extremely limited quantities. The Houdini x Osprey Allt 20 retails for $350, and the Allt 30 for $400.
