If you’ve ever looked at your power station and thought, “this doesn’t need to be this big,” EcoFlow just gave you a solution to that.
The new TRAIL Series from EcoFlow drops the AC bulk and dials into what actually matters for campers, hikers, and photographers on short outdoor escapes: a compact, rugged, and surprisingly powerful DC-only unit designed to charge everything you actually use.
From a sleek 192Wh model for solo adventurers to a lifestyle-driven 288Wh flagship with a built-in light and detachable cable handle, this series is built to be tossed in your pack, not stored in your home or vehicle.
Three options, one design language
Each model in the TRAIL lineup runs on high-efficiency DC power only which means no AC inverters, just a stack of USB-C, USB-A, and 12V ports that match how most modern outdoor gadgets are powered.
TRAIL 200 DC
- 192Wh capacity, 220W output
- 2 USB-A + 2 USB-C ports
- Weighs just 4.03 lbs
- Great for solo hikes or lightweight kits
TRAIL 300 DC
- 288Wh capacity, 300W output
- Adds a 12V car outlet
- USB, car, and solar charging
- Ideal for tent campers, van-lifers, or tailgaters
TRAIL Plus 300 DC
- Same 288Wh/300W core
- Adds EcoFlow app support
- Built-in multi-function light
- Detachable charging handle doubles as a 140W USB-C cable
- Designed for glampers and gadget lovers who like a clean setup
Each one is drop-resistant, fire-resistant, and easy to recharge from USB-C, your car, or a solar panel. If you want waterproofing too, a custom case is coming in September.
“It’s like bringing an extra water bottle”
Compared to older power stations, the TRAIL models are small. Like, shove-it-in-your-pack small.
The TRAIL 300 DC weighs 5.69 lbs which is roughly a pound and a half less than similar AC-based options.
EcoFlow makes a point of calling that “one less 500ml water bottle,” which is a fair comparison for hikers counting grams. The size is compact enough to share space with a drone or camera cube, especially in a larger hiking pack.
Power to share, without the noise
For groups, the TRAIL Plus 300 is particularly versatile. It can charge a phone 16 times, a laptop 5 times, or a 12V cooler for almost a full day.
The detachable cable handle is a clever design win: it keeps the main body smooth for packing and removes cable clutter from the equation.
You also get support for the EcoFlow app, which lets you monitor and manage your power station remotely, a welcome feature when you’re buried in a hammock or focused on setting up a shot.
Recharge fast, run longer
With 280W max dual USB-C input, the TRAIL 300 and Plus 300 can reach 80% in just 69 minutes. Solar and car input both max at 110W, so you can stay charged even off-grid, pair it with a 60W foldable panel and you’ve got a trail-ready loop.
